my laptop keyboard is currently us english
and im not sure how to change it to english
i have been onto control pannel/reginal and language settings
and it is already on uk english?
however when i type it is still us english?
does anyone know how to change it?

(if it doesn't already say %26quot;EN%26quot; in the bottom left hand corner next to the quick launch area near the clock.? If it does, click on this and select english - UK) If that is not there right click on the task bar at the bottom of your screen - go up to 'toolbars' - and check 'language bar' - then do as above. If that feature is not available its because you opted not to install it. You can do it through control panel too. But this is only if you haven't installed those features needed. It will ask to put the Install CD in the CD drive. I've just tried it myself and you don't want to go that route unless the features aren't installed. I promise you this is the way to do it. Those others haven't tried to actually use the feature or they would know. Please email me if this doesn't make sense because they're mistaken. SORRY, I SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT YOU NEED TO GO TO ADVANCED IN REGIONAL SETTINGS AS YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE DATE AND TIME SETTING. bUT AS i SAID . . . . . .Even then thats not the best wayHow do i change my laptop keyboard to UK English?

There is a section in %26quot;Regional and Language Settings%26quot; that is about the keyboard.
Click on the Languages tab and Details. You need to have English (UK) keyboard. If it is not there then you can add it and make it default. If you never want a US keyboard then delete (remove) the US keyboard option.How do i change my laptop keyboard to UK English?
Have you made sure it says English United Kingdom at the top and English United Kingdom at the bottom then click Apply then OK. It should then be right.How do i change my laptop keyboard to UK English?
